Dr. Meilin Yang

Dr. Meilin Yang

Meilin is the owner and founder of Lumina Pelvic Health, a physical therapy practice serving the Greater Seattle area with a special focus on pelvic floor care. As a licensed physical therapist, she is passionate about helping women reconnect with and strengthen their bodies so they can move through life with confidence and comfort.

Meilin’s journey into pelvic health began with her own experience of overactive bladder syndrome. After being told she simply had a “small bladder” and offered medication as the only solution, she felt frustrated and unheard. Through her own learning and self-treatment, Meilin discovered the power of pelvic floor therapy—eventually overcoming her symptoms and gaining a deeper understanding of her body. That experience inspired her mission: to help women feel informed, empowered, and in control of their health.

Since becoming a mom (and currently pregnant with her 2nd baby), Meilin has felt even more passionate about supporting expecting and new mothers. She deeply understands the physical and emotional changes that come with this season of life and loves helping women feel strong, capable, and cared for during pregnancy and postpartum recovery.

A native New Yorker, Meilin is also a travel enthusiast, cookie baker, and plant and animal lover. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, exploring new foods, playing games and sports, and cooking. She also loves sharing her knowledge through community workshops, perinatal support groups, and women’s health events—spreading awareness that pelvic health truly matters.
